Spent Mushroom Compost

Our Spent Mushroom Compost is a rich mixture that is easy to work with and gives great results.

This compost is a mix of well rotted organic farmyard manure (horse and chicken muck with straw); it goes by the name "mushroom compost" as, before it gets to us for bagging or blending, it serves a term growing mushrooms (you won't get loads of mushrooms in your borders, fear not).

We do three sizes of bulk bag; a jumbo bag contains approx 1000ltrs (one cubic metre), a standard bulk bag contains about 750ltrs (same as most builders merchants, other topsoil suppliers) and a 500ltr bag which is basically a half filled cubic metre bag!

Small bags are 50ltrs and the perfect option if you want a small quantity of manure or if you have access issues and will have to carry the topsoil through your house or over any walls etc.
