Sand Chute

Constructed from heavy duty, pressure treated timber for long life and durable, fade resistant HDPE plastic, the Sand Chute provides a fun and interactive addition to any sand play area.

Children can pour dry sand in at the top and watch it cascade down to the bottom, allowing children to learn about gravity and the properties of different materials. Children can use timers to time how long 1, 2 or 3 buckets takes to get to the bottom. They can also listen to the different sounds made from the friction between the sand chute and the sand as it travels at different speeds.
